Railway Group D is good news for those applying for recruitment. Railway has removed the minimum qualification condition for education in Group D's jobs for wives or widows of employees who have retired for death or medical reasons during the service. Firstly, it was necessary that the minimum educational qualification 10th class was necessary for job group D or level-1 job, but now it has been changed.
In many quizzes from the Zonal Railway, it was asked what would happen to the wife or widow of her employer whose educational qualification is not in line with the level -1 job. Considering all these, the Board has decided to remove the mandatory educational qualification rule.

The letter issued on April 6 of the Railway Board has said that this matter has been pending in this Ministry for some time now. After this, it has now been decided that even if the wife does not have the necessary educational qualifications, she will be given a level-1 job. There will be no pressure on them to fulfill this rule.
In this regard, the Board has said that appointments will be made only in those situations when the Authority is satisfied that the work will be done with on-job training. On the basis of a compassionate basis, the wives or widows of those employees are given jobs, who died during service or they were not fit in clinically.
RRC vacancies for group D and C vacancies
Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has taken recruitment on posts of Group C and previous Group D under scout and guide quota. Recruitments will be made on Group C3 posts (North Eastern Railway-02, DLW-01) and Group D's 8 posts (DLW, Lucknow, North East Railway, Ijjantnagar and Varanasi Circle, each in 02 posts). Interested and qualified candidates can apply online for both of these positions. Candidates who wish to apply for both posts will be required to submit separate charges.
