New Delhi: The Supreme Court has given a jolt to the Gujarat government in the fixing case. The Supreme Court had rejected the arguments made by the Gujarat government in the matter of fix wages and due to this policy, the victim's staff joined the case as a party. During the hearing on Thursday, the Supreme Court welcomed the decision from secretariat to district-taluka level government employees.
Equal work - Yogaxam Foundation is fighting the fixation policy of the Government of Gujarat, which is extending the same wage principle, from the High Court to the Supreme Court. This is a social organization and there is no government employee in it.
Earlier, several employees of the government had applied to the Supreme Court to join the case as a defendant. In response, the government affirmed and said that there was no employee party when the verdict of the case came to Gujarat High Court. So that he can not be paired as a defendant in the Supreme Court.
During the hearing on Thursday, the Supreme Court asked the government what is the matter with them. In response, the Additional Solicitor General of the Government said that if the employees have any questions, the government is ready to listen to the presentation but we are concerned about joining the party.
In this regard, the Supreme Court said that if the submission was ready to listen, then the government did not accept affidavit by saying that it was not a party and the employees of the fixed wage were ordered to join the case as an effective party.
